Dear Raider Families,

Happy New Year! We are excited to welcome our Raiders back on Tuesday, January 6th as we begin the third quarter of the school year. A new year is a natural time for reflection and goal setting, and our students will be encouraged to Begin with the End in Mind by setting new personal and academic goals for the semester. Through our Leader in Me framework, students will focus on taking ownership of their learning, strengthening leadership habits, and continuing to grow as confident leaders both in and out of the classroom.

Should an NTI day be used in the event of inclement weather, families will be notified through TalkingPoints (email, app, or text), local media, and our school social media platforms. Student and staff safety is always our top priority, and timely communication is essential. We strongly encourage families to regularly check messages and ensure contact information is up to date so you do not miss important announcements.

As we begin this new year, I would also like to warmly welcome Mr. Downing as our new assistant principal. Mr. Downing brings strong leadership, a commitment to student success, and a passion for building positive relationships with students, staff, and families. We are excited to have him as our new Assistant Principal and look forward to the impact his leadership will have on our school community.
